Verizon likely won’t get the iPhone this year, AT&T keeps exclusive – Credit Suisse

Given widespread complaints at AT&T coverage, US iPhone-lovers are likely to wake up in denial this morning as it looks increasingly likely the network has retained its exclusive hold on the iPhone for at least another year. We don’t want to shoot the messenger, but at least one analyst this morning issued a stock downgrade against most likely alternative iPhone suitor, Verizon Wireless, expressing his belief that the latter carrier won’t be getting ‘i’ among its phones this year.
